On March 9 in worship, we had the honor of commissioning Pastor Helen Gwanfogbe as our Commissioned Lay Pastor and Director of Outreach at New Bridges Presbyterian Church! Many of you already know Pastor Helen from her time as our interim pastor, and we are grateful for the leadership, care, and wisdom she continues to share with our congregation.
Pastor Helen brings a deep love for the church, a heart for community engagement, and a passion for embodying God’s justice and grace in the world. In this role, she will help us strengthen our outreach, deepen relationships, and ensure that New Bridges remains a place of welcome, service, and transformation.
