It’s hard to face the world’s pain—easier, sometimes, to look away. But the prophet Jeremiah invites us to see clearly, grieve deeply, and imagine a future shaped by God’s justice. Join us this summer as Jeremiah invites us to face hard truths, lament, and hope.

About the event
It’s hard to face the world’s pain—hard to face the grief in our communities, the injustice in our systems, the ache in our own hearts. At times, it feels easier to deny, distract, or defend than to speak the truth.
But the book of Jeremiah won’t let us look away. It speaks into the cracks of our world with unflinching honesty. Jeremiah names what others ignore, mourns what has been lost, and calls God’s people to let go of their illusions and imagine a future grounded in justice.
“Can I not do with you, O house of Israel, just as this potter has done?
Just like the clay in the potter’s hand, so are you in my hand.” (Jeremiah 18:6)
Sometimes only brokenness will reveal to us the flaws beneath.
Sometimes truth and grief must guide us toward healing.
