About the event
Advent is more than looking back two thousand years to the birth of Christ. It’s also looking ahead to the future revealing of God’s kingdom.
And in this in-between time, as we open the tiny doors of our Advent calendars and unwrap the sweetness inside, we practice a deeper kind of waiting—one that teaches us to slow down, be present, and pay attention.
We wait for the day when God’s kingdom is fully revealed.
But we also seek it in the present.
We long for it.
We embody it daily.
