Bill Shive
accompanist
I was born and raised in Canton, Ohio. I graduated from Milligan College (now Milligan University) where I had classes in piano and organ. I earned a master's degree at Emmanuel School of Religion (now Emmanuel Theological Seminary). Then I studied for a doctoral degree at the Graduate Theological Union, Berkeley, CA.
From childhood I was interested in playing the piano, and in high school I was pianist for the school's orchestra, and while in high school I had my first job playing the piano at a ballet studio. Through the years since I have been pianist for a number of churches and singers, and am now pianist for New Bridges church.
I am married to Rev. Dr. Leon Bacchues and we have a son, Rodney Bacchues.
